2011 Farm Tour Schedule

All farm tours are now closed for the season, we will resume scheduled farm tours, starting in June. Check back for dates.

Farm Tours are given the first Saturday of the month (June-October) at 10:00am.

Come see how a sustainable, pasture-based farm works. Get a 1 1/2 hour personally guided tour, with ample time for questions.

We will visit, among other things (and depending on the time of year):

• baby chicks (depending on the season)
• egg-layer chickens
• sheep
• rare-breed heritage pigs
• grass-fed cattle and calves
• chickens raised for meat
• pastured turkeys
• cashmere goats and more.

Walking in fields is part of the tour, so proper footwear is required.

The cost of the tour is $5.00 per adult with children 12 and under free. Farm tours are a great way to get to know your local farmers and learn about where your food comes from.
