History of Walpole Valley Farms
Sign circa 1975
In 1998 Walpole Valley Farms was a dairy farm that ceased operating after many successful years. With the herd sold in 1993 and no farmhands to tend the land, the property quickly deteriorated.
When the Caserta family purchased the property in 1998, parts of the farm were in need of care. Three generations participated in the loving restoration of the property, and in the fall of 1999
the doors to the Inn at Valley Farms opened.
Today it is a vibrant farm, raising 100% Grass-fed & finished beef, pastured chickens, eggs & turkeys, cashmere goats and a wide variety of quality herbs, heirloom vegetables and edible
flowers.
Come stay with us at the farm, enjoy the simple beauty, collect eggs, take part in chores, learn about the food chain or simply relax.
