Farm Internship: A typical day on the farm can include: Daily movements of cattle to new paddocks, moving temporary fencing, planning Holistic mob-grazing patterns. Daily movement of chicken & turkey pens and the Eggmobile. Collection of eggs, sorting and delivery. Some gardening, vegetable harvesting (such as our Heirloom Tomato Greenhouse operation) assisting in the on-farm processing of chickens and turkeys.

In the process you will learn: How to raise delicious, clean, well-fed livestock, market them to local consumers effectively through different channels, and how to accomplish the day-to-day tasks to operate a successful business.

Requirements: Time requirements negotiable. Work 5 days per week. No specific work experience is required, although a good attitude & a thirst for knowledge is essential. Hard work is expected.

Housing: We have bunk style accommodations in a camper located on the farm. Complete with kitchen & bath, high speed wireless internet also available on the farm.

Stipend: Compensation negotiable based on experience. Normal stipend is $100/month for incidentals.


"From Pasture to Plate" 5-Day Comprehensive Poultry Harvesting: Come and learn start to finish exactly what it takes to process pastured chickens & turkeys. All aspects of harvesting on-farm poultry will be covered. This is 5 single days (July 10th, August 14th, Sept.11th, October 9th, November 20th)
